Tildes

The purpose of a tilde is to limit the amount of repetition when building reports. For example, a report may include a copyright statement. This is usually global to all reports. Using tildes it can be defined in one place but used in all reports. So, when it comes time to update it, the change is done in one place.

Tildes can be defined globally in MCS and/or at the time of creating a publication.

A tilde can be used in the PPF or HTML file and the value it holds can be as little as one word or a much as an entire paragraph.

The format is simply ~tildename~.
