The usage throttling configuration options for MCS are shown in the image below.

| Throttle web page users | When checked, enforces a delay (in milliseconds) between connection tests initiated by users via the web page. The "Maximum client delay" option sets the time limit for how long clients must wait between test attempts. |
| Throttle satellite tests | Enforces a delay (in milliseconds) between each test start for tests initiated from satellites. |
| Limit tests per user | Limits the number of tests any individual user is allowed to perform within a specified time period. You can set the number of tests and the time frame (in days, hours, etc.) to enforce this limit. |
