Permitted Hosts

Control which domains or IPs can be used to access the MCS portal.

The permitted hosts configuration options for MCS are shown in the image below.

Enter one domain or IP per line. If the list is empty, the feature remains inactive.

How It Works

Permitted hosts control which domain or IP can be used to access MCS.

For example, if MCS is set up on mcs.company.com and this FQDN is in the list, any attempt to access it via mcs.anothercompany.com — even if it points to the same IP — will be blocked. Once mcs.company.com is listed, it becomes the only domain through which the portal can be accessed.

Note: Any changes to these settings will not be saved until you click the Save button located at the bottom of the page.
