Below are the menus and topics related to administrating MyConnection Server

General Config

  • All Firewall Ports. Information regarding what ports need to be open for MCS to run correctly.
  • Server IP & Ports. Assigning an IP and Port for accessing MCS remotely.
  • Database Timezone. Setting the timezone used by MCS.
  • Capacity Config. General configuration settings for the capacity test, like port and data limits.
  • Firewall Config. General configuration settings for the firewall test, like allowed ports and timeouts.
  • Speed Config. General configuration settings for the speed test, like allowed ports and timeouts.
  • VoIP Config. General configuration settings for the VoIP test, like allowed ports and timeouts.
  • Usage Throttling. Define limits on how often testing can take place.
  • Thread Management. Set a max number of threads that can be started in MCS.
  • Root Page Redirect. Choose a page to automatically redirect to when MCS is browsed to.
  • Permitted Domains. Add domains to the allowed list, required for browser testing.
  • Permitted Hosts. Add domains to protect access to MCS itself.
  • Email Setup. Add SMTP settings to MCS for things like event emails and 2-factor authentication.
